YMCA Annual Strong Kids Campaign
 At the heart of community life in Williamsport, our mission-driven YMCA is ‘a place to belong’ and to live the values that guide and unite our members: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Children and families in our community need and deserve the family-oriented programs and services the YMCA can provide. Few things are more important than a healthy lifestyle, strong community, positive role models and quality time spent together as a family.
Through the support raised by the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, the YMCA reaches out to children and families throughout the community to provide opportunities that they might not otherwise have. Your support provides the funds needed to make these programs such as child care, day camp and swim lessons to low-income children and families available, providing life-enhancing experiences that build strong kids, strong families, strong communities.
Did you know? The Williamsport YMCA has a strict philosophy that states: “children and families should be able to participate in YMCA programs and activities regardless of their ability to pay”?
Last year, our Y awarded over $200,000 in scholarships to local youth and families.
